I was offered the career transition program after my role redundancy to help me to better understand myself and clarify what I was looking for in my next role. I expected a generic process of a resume review and some interview techniques but I was surprised to discover I had a true partner in my corner to guide me through what could have been a difficult time. My coach adapted the process to be truly personalised to my needs and also guided me on what my needs could be, with the help of the profiling tool, when I was unclear. I learnt a lot about what I needed in a role to help me succeed, which was a new concept to me.
